First and foremost, I view myself as a storyteller. Only recently have I been experimenting with how to tell those stories.

I am a fundamentally hopeful person. Belief is what will get us through this, not cynicism / My stories center around that belief, or as Christian in Moulin Rouge said, "I had come to write about truth, beauty, freedom and that which I believed above all things: love."
